The aim of this project was to animate a classic logo, I chose the Couvoir Dorval Logo. The logo chosen for the assignment is the Couvoir Dorval logo. Founded in 1977, Couvoir Dorval was one of Canada’s foremost turkey hatcheries. The logo was designed by designer Glenn Fretz.

The logo is a simple icon depicting a chick within an egg. The outer circle around the chick is divided in the middle, and the left and right sides show a C and a D respectively. The chick conveys a lot of character with its simple rendering, so for my animation, I wished to take advantage of that.
